FAQs
what is somatics?
Somatics centers your body -- also known as your soma -- as the starting point for self-inquiry and as a resource for healing. Your body has been your companion through life. Your body remembers and reveals truths about how you have been shaped by your environment in ways that are different from and often out of the reach of your mind. Somatic practices create space for your body to speak, be heard, and find support. As you grant your body permission to express its wisdom, your body can clear a path for you to claim the full depth and breadth of your intrinsic worth, dignity, and resilience as a human being.
